A collection of resources for various types of teachers to use within any learning environment, whether it be from early childhood up to High School. These resources, I have found rather useful within the classroom. By placing them in one location, I am saving not only myself time, but others as well.
LEARNING CENTRE RESOURCES
As an individual who requires hands on learning to fully understand what is being taught I did my Teachers College Inquiry Project on LEARNING CENTRES. At first I had planed on doing Literacy Centres but decided to call it LEARNING CENTRES since literacy encompasses all elements of learning. In this section all information pertaining to Learning Centres (from mathematics to science, all subjects can be turned into a learning centre) will be found. It is also important to note that learning centres are not just for Kindergarten classrooms, but can also be utilized well into High School to add to the students learning and understanding of key concepts being taught.
As I continue on my search for websites that offer information and resources for learning centres, I will add new links and I will also remove links that no longer work or no longer serve a purpose.

ABC Teach
http://www.abcteach.com/
This is another site that I used while conducting research for my inquiry project on Learning Centres. What I used from this site was information on how to set up your learning environment for learning centres. The site also offers other information and worksheets to the user a number of curriculum areas.
As an occasional teacher, I have used many of the free printable sheets within the classroom as filler work or for ideas that can be used when I am filling in for an away teacher. The site also offers more to members than to individuals who choose to use the items that are free.A to Z Teacher Stuff

This particular website I have found very useful. While doing Teachers College, I did my inquiry project for Language Arts on Learning Centres. During my research I came across this website which offered me with a number of useful links to information on creating literacy centres.
The following are a few samples that can be found on several of the links provided:
Literacy Centres: 60 Literacy Centre Activities and Blacklines(Sample)
ABC Centres (Sample)
Learning Centres/Literacy Centres (Sample)
The site also offers the user with many useful links for teachers. At the top of the site there are tabs that may be of interest to the user like themes, lessons, tips, articles etc…
